The Beacon, who finished 4th in the previous season, are determined to claim the league honors this time around. Both strikers from the clubs :Makhubela (Robin Villa) and Moleki (Lighthouse) , didn't manage to score in their previous match, so the anticipation is even higher.

It has been announced that Da Block Stars will not be participating in the Eersterust Promotional League for the 2023/2024 season.

The reason behind this is that the club has violated the Eersterust Football Association Competition Uniform Rule, which has resulted in their early exit from the league. As per the rule, all the remaining fixtures of Da Block Stars will be forfeited, and the points will be awarded to their opponents.

Although the club had high hopes of finishing in the top 8 clubs of the EFA promotional League, the early exit from Home Defender gave them hope to achieve, now the club might end the league at the bottom of the table..

The club has a young and talented team, which could have played a significant role in their remaining fixtures and caused an upset in the league, just like they did against Pretoria Giants.

Let us envision the club's triumphant return to competitive football, bringing pride and joy to the entire Eersterust community as they compete in the Promotional League.

Despite a tough start to the 2023/2024 Eersterust Promotional Season, Home Defenders are determined to turn things around. They won fewer matches in their first 10 games compared to the 2022/2023 season when they played 10 games and showed their competitiveness.

With the pressure mounting to return to their winning ways, the team had to focus on each match and try to win. Although the team has an excellent squad on paper, it remains to be seen whether they can find the right combination to start winning matches.

The team has recently signed some great players such as Angelo Phillips, Kyle Shkaidy, Lee-Shanu Bergsteedt, Kester Ah Dong, and Rezaat Fredricks, who could provide the necessary balance for the rest of the 2023/2024 season. The players are hard-working and determined to win, as demonstrated in their last three games where they scored 11 goals and conceded only 4. Home Defenders are a team of fighters, and they won�t stop until they achieve their goals.
